If you save a game on your Xbox 360 hard drive will you still be able to play it even if its scratched?

  1. No. Installing a game onto your hard drive just makes the xbox run quieter while playing the game. It also make the game load faster. You can’t play the game without the disk even if it is installed onto your hard drive. Usually it takes a lot of scratches on the disk to make the xbox not read it. But if the disk has a large amount of scratches and the xbox doesn’t read it, then you can’t play it even if it is installed onto your hard drive.

  2. The guy at the top is wrong. You still need to put the disk in so the 360 can see you own the game. The disk will be in but it won’t spin that’s all.

    To answer your question, well idk. It could work, depends on how badly it’s scratched.
